Discover the beauty and fascinating Jewish heritage of Mogador (Essaouira), one of Morocco’s most charming historic coastal cities.
Departing from our hotel in Marrakech in the morning, guests will enjoy a scenic journey to Essaouira, known for its beautiful Atlantic coastline, historic medina, colorful souks, and remarkable Jewish history.
A special highlight of our excursion will be a visit to the historic synagogue of Rabbi Chaim Pinto and the burial site of Rabbi Chaim Pinto HaGadol, one of Morocco’s most revered Jewish sages. Guests will have an opportunity to pray, reflect, and connect with the extraordinary spiritual heritage of Moroccan Jewry.
Our guided visit will also include the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), traditional markets, the picturesque fishing port, and other fascinating landmarks.
A delicious kosher-for-Passover packed lunch will be provided for guests to enjoy during the excursion. A private driver and guide are included.
Following additional sightseeing and free time, we will return to our hotel in Marrakech in the evening.
